There Is Still a Word for What You’re Facing

There are times when life leaves you with questions you cannot answer. You may not know what to do next, how the situation will turn out, or where to find the strength to keep going. But not having an answer does not mean there is no direction. There is still a Word for what you're facing. You see, God did not leave us to figure out life on our own. He gave us His Word. So, when you don't know what to do, go to the Word. When you're discouraged, see what God has said. When you're afraid, remind yourself of His truth. You may not have all the answers, but you don't have to face it alone. When you don't know what step to take next, God's Word can show you the way. As the Psalmist says, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105, NKJV). A lamp doesn't show you the whole road at once but gives you enough light to take the next step. Sometimes, that's all you need. You may not know how everything will work out, but God's Word can show you the right step. That's why you need God's Word in your life every day, not only when something goes wrong or when you need an answer, but even when things are going well. Study it. Meditate on it. Let it become part of the way you live. Joshua 1:8 tells us to meditate on God's Word “day and night” and to observe everything written in it.
